Wildlife Takeover: We celebrate summer with The Nature Conservancy's takeover of the Wildlife page

The Nature Conservancy Care To ClickWith the weather finally becoming outdoor-friendly and the birds singing a summer song, June is always one of our favorite months at Care To Click. This year it's even more special.
Those who visited the Care To Click Wildlife page today surely noticed something new and exciting. The Nature Conservancy has taken over the page, which means all your actions for the month support their mission to “conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.”
The Nature Conservancy is one of the most effective conservation organizations in the world - with more than 60 years of experience, the Conservancy has protected more than 119 million acres of land - that’s bigger than the entire area of the states of California and South Carolina combined - thousands of river miles worldwide (imagine lining up the Mississippi, Colorado and Ohio Rivers end to end) and The Conservancy operates more than 250 marine conservation projects around the world.
The Conservancy's strong performance is recognized by Charity Navigator as exceeding or meeting industry standards and highly rated by other charity watchdog organizations.
The Nature Conservancy works in more than 35 different countries and all of our 50 states.
Over the next month, we'll tell you more about The Nature Conservancy through tweets, Facebook posts and emails. For now though, we're asking the Care To Click community to visit The Nature Conservancy's website to learn a little bit more about what they are doing.
Check out some of the projects they've completed and current initiatives. We encourage our community to make a donation to help save the one and only Earth we’ve got. Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever.
This is going to be a great summer to be outdoors. The Nature Conservancy's work ensures there will be many, many more to come.
If you'd like to do more than click today, you can donate now.
