Rainforest Trust views the upcoming Earth Day 2015 as an important fundraising day and they have the Eye of the Baby Tiger video to prove it.
The video is short only about 30 seconds and has some cute images and video of baby tigers.
Rainforest Trust is working to protect the endangered Sumatran tiger, which we've written about in this spot before. For those new to the Care To Click Wildlife blog, it is estimated that fewer than 400 of these rainforest tigers are alive today.
One of the biggest threats to the Sumatran tiger is deforestation. The Eye of the Baby Tiger video hopes to raise awareness about the plight of the tiger and raise funds to battle deforestation.
Rainforest Trust has a stated goal of raising $85,000, a number that would help the group protect 25,000 acres of rainforest. Late in the day on Thursday the group was nearly halfway there, having raised a little more than $40,000.
After watching the video, it's hard not to support Rainforest Trust.
We encourage the Care To Click community to do what it can to help Rainforest Trust save the Sumatran tiger. We'd also like to remind everyone to visit the Care To Click Wildlife page, where you can donate a free click, tweet or Facebook post. You are also encouraged to visit the Care To Click Shopping mall, where visitors can compare prices and save money on all kinds of items, including Nikon D3200 SLR cameras, outdoor watches and outdoor furniture. A portion of the money from purchases made via the Care To Click Wildlife shopping center benefits organizations working to protect wildlife.
